Do Bees Poop in Their Honey?

Do bees poop in the honey they make?

I'm pretty sure they do poop like any other insects, but where they poop and whether they would do it in the hive and honey had kept me wondering (not worrying) until I posed the question to The Straight Dope in 2010. Well it may be be too trivial a question but I thought I should also just share with you their funny yet rather serious-sounding answer. Here you go:
